Wales will not play test at Teufaiva Stadium

Wales Rugby (WRU) has announced that it will not play in Tonga this year because of doubts that the pitch at Teufaiva Stadium would be upgraded in time. The WRU stated that arrangements were being made to relocate the Wales-Tonga test to another country.

50 Wales rugby supporters will still travel to Tonga.
I am an inbound tour operator looking after 50 Wales rugby supporters travelling to the South Pacific in June to watch the games v's Tonga and Samoa. I wish to advise that despite the decision to play the Tonga v Wales game in Auckland, we have decided to still travel to Tonga. So after the Auckland fixture, we will fly to Tonga and enjoy a 4 day holiday in your beautiful islands. We would love to meet with a local rugby club while in Tonga. Hugh hadownie@bigpond.com
