The verbatim reporting of the proceedings of the Tongan Parliament does not interpret accurately the meaning of what has been said in parliament, according to Gloria Pole'o, the Clerk of the Tonga Legislative Assembly. From the House, By Pesi Fonua.

It seems that one can leave
It seems that one can leave anything open to interpretation when records do not accurately reflect what is purported to have been said. This is especially important when we are talking about a democratic parliamentary process of government where what is said has significant impact on what is done and what the people observe to be the government response and process to implementing policy.
