Children at Nakelo Montessori Kindergarten learned about policing in a special day with Tonga Police officers, on 14 September at Tu’atakilangi. Sergeant Tu’uholoaki, a Trainer at the Police College, urged parents not to teach children to fear the police, “Teach their children the truth: a police officer’s job is to help them in time of trouble or when they need help, and to keep them safe."

Heneli Losalu (25), ‘Akapei Fa (20) and Semisi Moeaki (20) have been jailed for serious bodily harm, committed when they jointly attacked and injured a 17-year-old in the village of Puke in January this year.
