Alama Ieremia has resigned as Head Coach of Manu Samoa. The former All Black confirmed his resignation on Saturday in an official announcement by the Samoa Rugby Union.

Mate Ma’a Tonga prop forward, Leilani Latu, has sustained a serious jaw injury and will be unable to compete for the remainder of the 2017 NRL season.

‘Ikale Tahi prop Siosiua Halanukonuka has signed with Scottish Rugby Club, the Glasgow Warriors. In the last two years, Halanukonuka has made 14 appearances for the Otago Highlanders, and has six caps representing Tonga.

The Flying Fijians narrowly defeated the ‘Ikale Tahi 14 – 10 today in a hard fought match at Teufaiva Stadium. The ‘Ikale Tahi crossed the Fijian try line in extra-time to an uproarious crowd, but jubliation was short-lived as the referee disallowed the try and ordered a 5 metre scrum to Fiji.
