An additional AUD8.5 million ($13.2 million pa’anga) in further budget support to support economic recovery and fiscal resilience in Tonga was committed today by the Australian Government. A ceremonial flag raising was held this morning to open the first United States of America Embassy in Tonga in a historical event, held at the National Reserve Bank Building in Nuku’alofa.
