A young golfer, Salote Alexis Vakasiuola (16) has won Tonga’s first gold medal at the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara, Solomon Islands on 25 November, where she demonstrated remarkable determination in the women’s golfing event, finishing with a 10 point margin ahead of her nearest rival.

Four participants of the Tonga cohort of the 2023 Pacific Greenpreneurs Program graduated today, with two recipients awarded total funds of USD$55,000 (approximately TOP $130,000).
