Tonga Met issued their final advice for TD03 at 9:00am.
“The potential for this system to develop into a Tropical Cyclone is very low and no direct threat to Tonga. Therefore, this will be the last information for this system unless there is any significant change.”
Tropical Depression "TD03F" was located near latitude 13.5 south and longitude 173.2 east or about 1220km west of Niuafo'ou, or 1450km northwest of Nuku'alofa, or 1430km west of Niuatoputapu, or 1480km west northwest of Vavalu, or 1500km west northwest of Ha apai at 8:00am Wednesday 17 December, 2025..

There is no immediate threat to Tonga from a a Tropical Depression (TD03) in the next 24-48 hours, Tonga Meteorological Services advised at 11:00pm Tuesday 16 December.
TD03 was located near latitude 14.8 south and longitude 172.0 east or about 1330km west of Niuafo'ou, at 10:00pm. “The potential for this system to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours is very low.”
At 10:00pm the depression was located west northwest of Fiji, or 1530km west northwest of Nuku'alofa, or 1530km west of Niuatoputapu, or 1555km west northwest of Vava'u, or 1554km west northwest of Ha'apai .
