Bank of South Pacific Tonga Limited today announced a Net Profit After Tax of T$11.85 million for the financial year ending 31 December 2021. The result was driven by the release of Covid-19 provisions, good foreign exchange revenue, and strong transaction volumes. BSP Tonga Country Head, Mrs Marcellina Wolfgramm-Haapai said this result was 20% above the 2020 financial result.

The Bank South Pacific Tonga Limited made a net profit after income tax of $9.881 million pa'anga for the year ending 31 December 2020, the Directors declared in a key disclosure statement summary today. This compared to a profit of $11.155 million in 2019. Net Operating Income declined during the year 2020 under COVID-19 restrictions.

Marcellina Wolfgramm has been appointed as the Bank of South Pacific (BSP) new Country Manager in Tonga. She takes over the role from Daniel Henson, who led the Tonga operation since BSP started in 2015.
