Tonga's royal princesses and their relatives had their hair cut at the Royal Palace today in a ceremony that marks the end of the first 10 nights of mourning for the late King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV.

The Tongan Noble Fakafanua (44) died suddenly this morning in Nuku'alofa. The Prime Minister's Office confirmed that Fakafanua collapsed and died on Hala Vuna, Ma'ufanga, while he was out for his early morning walk.
