Policy Officer

Chief of Staff Command

 Either/or:
  • Relevant Bachelor qualification with at least a year of work experience.
  • Relevant Diploma Level 5/6 Tonga National Qualifications and Accreditation Board (TNQAB) framework + up to 3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Current public service employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.
“Relevant” qualifications for this position include Law, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, Commerce, or similar from a recognized tertiary institution.

Salary Range: Band L
($22,133-$33,194)

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience brought to the role.

Assistant Payroll Officer

Operations Support Command

 Either/or:
  • Relevant Diploma Level 5/6 Tonga National Qualifications and Accreditation Board (TNQAB) framework + up to 3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Relevant certificate level 4/trade/technical qualification + 3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Current Tonga Police employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years).

Band N
($13,355-$20,033)

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience bought to the role.

Revenue Officer

Operations Support Command

 Either/or:
  • Relevant Diploma (Level 5/6 TNQAB Framework)
  • Certificate (Level 4) + 2 years of relevant experience
  • Current Public Service or private sector employee with 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.

Salary Band N
($13,355-$20,033)

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience bought to the role.
