Nuku'alofa, Tonga
A pathology report has confirmed that no foul play was involved in the death of a man who was found dead in his hotel room in Nuku'alofa, on 18 April, Tonga Police reported.
Tonga Police said the deceased was a 40-year-old male of Korean nationality, residing in Australia. He had arrived in Tonga on 16 April and had expected to return on Friday, 18 April.
A pathologist from Australia conducted an autopsy on Friday, 25 April and found that cause of death was due to cardiac arrest.
"Thorough police investigations have been conducted and it was evident that no criminal activity was involved," Tonga Police stated.
The body of the deceased has been released to the family.
