Finetu’ui Moala won Gold for Tonga in judo in the men's 100kg division at the Pacific Mini Games 2017, in Vanuatu on December 8.

Awesome achievement by the Tongan competitors. Besides boxing and club fighting, wrestling was one of those arts practiced in ancient times, so its great to see our competitors performing well in Judo. Hope to see more and more of Judo rise in popularity in Tonga, it is a very exciting sport to watch and also take part in. Congrats again to the medal winners and others who took part.
