Lord Ve’ehala, President of the Tonga Football Association, and General Secretary Lui ‘Aho received an equipment grant of 160 footballs from TASANOC CEO Netina Vea and Australian volunteer Yi Yi.
The handover, held on 20 February 2026, included 80 size 4 footballs and 80 size 5 footballs to strengthen grassroots football development in Tonga.
The TASANOC Board approved the donation last year after an initial request by Adelaide Tu'ivailala, Head of Women’s Football at the Tonga Football Association.
The footballs will directly benefit youth and academy programmes by providing quality equipment as the Association continues working to raise the standard of football across the Kingdom.
This donation is TASANOC's investment in the future of sports in Tonga.
