USP Tonga celebrates 145 graduates

The University of the South Pacific celebrated the achievements of 145 graduates of its Tonga Campus today, 11 October, at Falemasiva Hall, in Havelu.

"Your hard work, late nights, the unwavering commitment have paid off, equipping you not only with the knowledge, but with the resilience to face tomorrow's challenges," said USP Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Pal Ahluwalia.

He noted the achievements of USP.

"Our international rankings are a testament to the hard work, the determination, and teamwork of all our staff and students, and I'm very proud of this fact and acknowledge everyone who's contributed to our global recognition," Prof. Ahluwalia said.

The Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, attended as guest of honour.
