This is the next best thing
This is the next best thing for H.M.A.Forces to experience and actually feel what its like, to participate in amphibious assault landing from a troop carrier without being fired upon with live ammo, it also gives the Tongan marines the opportunity to work closely with troops from other nations, see and be able to familiarise with their tactics and weaponry. These are skills that can only be acquired on the actual battlefield and participating in such exercise is the nearest scenario to real combat situation. Go the Tongan Marines . Tonga should increase the strength of H.M.A.F, so as to give young men of military age something worthwhile to do .... Send troops to work for the U.N. peacekeepers train as engineers, the military should be an avenue for unemployed unskilled youths and young men to learn skills they could use when discharged from the service. Go to war, come back and be useful.
