Tonga's new government office block, St George Palace at Pangai Si’i, is emerging from its scaffolding wraps in the Nuku’alofa Central Business District, as constuction nears completion.

What a pity the lovely park
What a pity the lovely park green area is gone. Now it looks like more horrible concrete. I'm sure they could have built this in another part of town. - Kathy Gee Fonua

Unlike Pangai lahi, Pangai si'i was useful and used every day by the public. It's quite unfortunate that future generations will be denied its usage.
