The ‘Ikale Tahi has announced its squad to play Georgia this Saturday in the Georgian capital, Tblisi. A notable exclusion was Ben Tameifuna, who decided to pull out of the tour last week. Nili Latu will captain the team.
When the ‘Ikale Tahi play Georgia on November 8, a physical encounter is expected, the Georgians known for their aggression. Georgia defeated Samoa last year by 16 points to 15.
The Georgian team is currently ranked 15th in the IRB world rankings, while Tonga is ranked 13th. The last time Tonga played Georgia was in 1999, Tonga lost by one point 28 - 27.
