Two accused of manslaughter after teenage girl dies from injuries

A woman and a man have been charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of a 14-year-old girl on Friday, August 16 at Vaiola Hospital. Both accused are detained in police custody.

It is very unfortunate to see
It is very unfortunate to see our children in our beloved home still face this. I acknowledge the hard work of the police commissioner and the police department but there's got to be some other ways the government, church leaders, and/or our schools to deal with these social issues internally and first hand to avoid such tremendous sad ending. Our prayers and thoughts to the families of the victim.
