Editor,

Thank you Mr Harder for sharing your Christmas Message Peace Plan with us. I hope that you have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year as well. Just one thing though, if you ever tire of practising Law, try your luck at writing for Theatre Companies here in the UK. Your peace plan dream for Tonga would make a wonderful Christmas pantomime. We could slot it in between Cinderella and Snow White - I am certain that Peace in Paradise will be the flavour of this Christmas Season.

Seriously though, can you please explain your suggestion "The legal initiatives presently being considered by 'Akilisi Pohiva in an effort to interfere with the Coronation of the King cease"? Those of us who are planning to come back home for the Coronation find this piece of information absolutely unbelievable!

I am also baffled as to why a Lawyer chooses to publish an explosive letter to the world and in doing so by-pass or seeks to by-pass the Judiciary System altogether, where criminal cases relate to 16/11 incidents are waiting to be heard.

If you want to be really useful Mr Harder, I suggest that you advise your clients that Tonga is far too small to have two Kings. King Siaosi Tupou V is our King and no-one else. Tonga without the Monarch is not Tonga. For those of you who think otherwise, get a life!
