The body of the late king HM George Tupou V will arrive in Tonga on Monday, March 26 and his state funeral and burial will be held at the Royal Tombs, Mala'e Kula, Nuku'alofa on Wednesday March 28.

Shocked and saddened to hear the sudden passing away of HM King George Tupou V. I had the privilege of attending his coronation along with my mother and had the occasion to meet him at diplomatic receptions. I share the sorrow and grief of the people of Tonga.
