The Legislative Assembly of Tonga will resume sitting on Monday, 1 February for about a month to discuss urgent Government Bills among other issues.

The Legislative Assembly of Tonga, which was set to resume sitting today has been further adjourned to Monday, 19 October.

A one-day workshop on cross border dispute resolution in the Pacific Islands and International Trade was held in Nuku'alofa on Tuesday, 15 September.

A motion/resolution by Lord Tu‘ilakepa to try to put the position of the Prime Minister's Personal Assistant under the civil service, was rejected by the Tongan Parliament yesterday, 8 September.
