Tonga's first Tobacco-Free Village, Kala'au, is taking a stand against tobacco-related deaths by declaring itself to be a "smoke-free" area, and the village is being rewarded by the Ministry of Health.

Nuku'alofa cyclists joined the first "Bicycle for Health" ride through the streets of Nuku'alofa early on Saturday morning, April 10.
Bicycle for Health, is the mission of Pasikala Nuku'alofa, a not for profit organization, which was established late last year. The president Robyn Tu'ivakano, and her secretary Naomi Fakau'a plan to hold a regular riding program.
On Saturday Hon Frederica Tuita led the seven kilometer Bicycle for Health ride, with other cyclists including the Minister for Youth and Sports, Noble Tu'ivakano.
