A United States Peace Corps staffer (56) has left Tonga today with her husband after she sustained injuries and bruises to her face in a brutal attack, while jogging on the Sopu waterfront on Saturday morning, 16 July at about 9:30a.m. Tonga Police are searching for a man who attacked the woman from behind, in a secluded area. It is likely that the attacker had blood on his clothing when he left the scene.
