The Coronation Education Day on Wednesday July 1 promises to be a spectacular event with thousands of student dancers massed at the Teufaiva Outdoor Stadium to perform for the king. A dress rehearsal today turned out the red and white Tongan flag on the field.

Yesterday's Emancipation Day Public Holiday in Tonga was a big clean-up day for homes and gardens in Nuku'alofa and Tongatapu villages before this month's Coronation of Tupou VI. Tonga High School's Form 7 students were out lending their hands to the clean-up to raise funds for upcoming events.
