Six Tongan athletes will take part at the Tokyo Olympics, starting with the opening ceremony, at 8:00pm Japan time, which will be shown on local TV in Tonga on 23 July (midnight Tongan time).

Tonga’s famous bare-chested flagbearer, Pita Taufatofua has revealed kayaking as the third sport he will aim to qualify in for the next Olympics, to be held in Tokyo in 2020.
