Australia is preparing for a nationwide festival of rugby as seven host cities are confirmed by World Rugby. The Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia will feature 24 teams. With 12 already qualified after RWC 2023, 12 more teams will qualify in 2025. For the Pacific, in August-September 2025 the best three teams of the Pacific Nations Cup 2025, other than already-qualified Fiji and Japan, will punch their tickets to RWC 2027.
