Fishing boats, yachts and the inter-island domestic vessels can now complete their underwater surveys in Tonga after a $700,000 upgraded slipway at Queen Salote Wharf was reopened yesterday, 7 September.

Ports Authority Tonga was elected as the new President of the Pacific Maritime Transport Alliance for the next three years, at PMTA's Annual General Meeting held in Auckland, New Zealand, yesterday. The Chairman of the Transport Shared Board of Directors, Mr Stephen Edwards accepted the role on behalf of Ports Authority Tonga.
