Seven suspects were arrested by Tonga Police with 14 packs of methamphetamine and two packs of cannabis, in a series of drug busts in three different locations in Tongatapu today, February 21.

No arrest has been made in the seizure of 29 cannabis plants from a bush allotment at Fonongahina near Sia’atoutai on February 12.

A total of 2665 cannabis plants were uprooted and seized from a bush allotment in Mataika, Vava’u on Monday, September 24 making it Tonga’s largest cannabis bust to date.
