9017 Lulutai Airlines Vacancy Maintenance controller 6-20 February 2026

Lulutai Airlines, Tonga's only national carrier, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness across our fleet. We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions:

Position

Qualifications and experience

1. Maintenance Controller

For Part 121 Operations:

  • Clear knowledge and understanding of maintenance provisions under Part 121.
  • Must hold or have held an aircraft maintenance engineer license or equivalent with appropriate ratings.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance of similar size and type as operated by Lulutai Airlines.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position during the 5 years’ experience

For Part 125 Operations:

  • Clear knowledge and understanding of maintenance under Part 125.
  • Must hold or have held an aircraft maintenance engineer license under part 66 or equivalent license with appropriate ratings.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance of similar size and type as operated by Lulutai Airlines.
  • At least 1 year’s experience certifying aircraft for release-to- service or equivalent experience acceptable to the Director.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience in controlling and directing maintenance and ensuring continuing airworthiness.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
