Job Vacancy: IT System Administrator (Core Banking Specialist)

We are looking for a skilled IT System Administrator to join our team and manage our core banking systems. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of banking platforms, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for maintaining system performance, security policies, backups, and disaster recovery plans, as well as managing user access and collaborating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor core banking systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage security protocols and perform regular audits.
  • Develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve system issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage user access, perform troubleshooting, and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system or any other related field of studies.
  • Proven experience in core banking software technical management, working with development and support of finance systems.
  • Knowledge on security protocols, firewalls and compliance standards.
  • Strong expertise in core banking platforms, databases, and networking protocols.
  • Proven experience in system administration, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
