Nineteen people were arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) during a Tonga Police DUI operation on Tongatapu last week.
Those arrested included 13 males aged between 17 and 62 years, and six females aged between 19 and 55 years.
Tonga Police remind drivers that driving under the influence of alcohol is an offence that endangers lives and compromises road safety.
"Enforcement operations will continue to ensure safer roads for all members of the public," Tonga Police stated.
