Since its launch in 2023, our charity project, in partnership with HM Queen Nanasipau’u’s Charity, has grown into a tradition of compassion and service to the community. Now in its third year, Swire Shipping continues to work with our customers, vendors and other valued partners to bring hope and relief to needy members of our community.
This year, 168 care packages were packed with generous contributions from 19 local partners, filled with daily essentials like rice, sugar, noodles, cooking oil, toilet paper, laundry powder and mosquito coils, to help ease everyday burdens and bring a touch of festive cheer. On 28 November, with the support of HM Queen Nanasipau’u’s Charity, these packages were donated to the disabled, vulnerable, and elderly members of local churches and the wider community, including residents of 'Eua Island.
The curated packages were tirelessly packed by Swire Shipping’s employees over three days, demonstrating their dedication to ensuring every package was prepared with care and compassion.
