Father charged with whipping 5 year old daughter

A 40-year-old man has been charged with the assault of his five-year-old daughter whom he allegedly whipped with a belt leaving bruises on her back on Sunday, 23 August in Nukunuku, Tongatapu. The child has been removed from the home under a protection order.
