What a shame that none of the
What a shame that none of the following has improved as a result of this hardware upgrade!
- improved call reliability - for example being able to connect with a caller the first time you call, or timely delivery of texts (instead of 2 hours)
- providing an emergency call service that actually works (I recently had to call 911 from Digicel and TCC and neither worked)
- have an opt in service for the extremely annoying text services from both companies - this would breach privacy legislation in many countries
- review billing facilities! The amount of times I have customers complain about an ever reducing balance when they have not made a call or text or data is simply amazing. I wish the ministry of communications or commerce commission would do a review of this, I have a number of NZ suppliers that specialise in billing analysis for Telco's.
Why doesn't the Tongan Government force the two Telco's to co-locate hardware on TCC/Digicel towers to improve coverage - as has been legislated in other countries to reduce duplicating expensive towers.
