Rubbish, rubbish and more
Rubbish, rubbish and more rubbish, Tongans need a training program on putting their dirty nappies, plastic takeaway food containers, drink bottles and cans and just about every wrapping paper I can think of left behind at beautiful beaches, tossed out of cars on to the road and dumped all over Tonga for tourists to see. Tonga is a beautiful country to be proud of, yet everyday I see Tongans having total disregard for their country and leaving rubbish everywhere. I saw Palangis cleaning up a beach and Tongans looking on and laughing, but remember this may be your country but it's everyone's planet earth and we all have a duty of care for the those who come after us. The sight of pooed nappies left at beautiful beaches is just totally unacceptable regardless of who we are and where we come from. Well done to the few I see picking up rubbish, you should be rewarded for shining the light to all Tongans to "Do the right thing" and put your rubbish in the bins or take it home and leave Tonga looking beautiful, not much to ask is it?
