Congratulation Hon.Samiu
Congratulation Hon.Samiu Vaipulu. What a wonderful public reading room. Imagine having a Public Library as well, I have collected over 40,000 books here in Anchorage Alaska in direct response to the devastating Tsunami in Sept of 2009. Please check out http://www.alaskadispatch.com/article/alaskan-continues-dream-library-tonga . I'm still looking for sponsor or someone that could help me ship all the books to Tonga, I'm planning to start the Northern Lights Library Project in Ha'apai Islands. The problem is shipping, NLL Project is an ongoing project the whole state of Alaska is aware of this project and the Alaska Legislature, Governor, Mayor and the city of Anchorage support this library project from day one. NLL object is a non-profit 501 c 3 through the Polynesian Association of Alaska. You inspired me with your Public Reading Room, my hopes and dreams of a public library for Tonga will continue until i can find a way to ship over 40,000 books, text books from the Unviersity of Alaska Anchorage, name all the books you can imagine, I have it all. If I can get a free container donated to ship all the books to Tonga, it will be a blessing to connect Alaska to Tonga through education. Thank you for all the wonderful work you have done and so to Hon. Dr Ana Taufe'ulungaki. Education is power and I am a living proof of education and trying to help connect the biggest state of the U.S. to Tonga through educating our future generation.
Congratulation to both of you.
Blessing,
Kato Ha'unga
