Beyond competition, Tongan athletes participated in Kids' Athletics activities during the championship, supporting youth development initiatives and promoting athletics among the next generation of Oceania athletes.

The team also acknowledged the strong support received from the Tongan community in Darwin, whose hospitality, cultural celebrations, church services and vocal support helped create a home-away-from-home environment for the athletes throughout the competition.

Officials congratulated the athletes and support staff for their efforts, describing the campaign as a successfully representing Tonga on the regional athletics stage.
