Mangrove restoration protects livelihoods for coastal communities

Mangrove restoration efforts in Tonga are playing a vital role in protecting livelihoods and supporting vulnerable coastal communities. An important mangrove planting initiative is currently planting 200,000 mangroves in Tongatapu and Vava'u.
