Miss Heilala 2025 results:

  • Winner: Miss Pangaimotu Island, Siosiana Taumoepeau.
  • First runner-up: Miss Charity of Love Vava'u, Talita Fainga'a.
  • Second runner-up: Miss Tika Way Creation, Malia Toatepi Tonga'uiha
  • Third runner-up: Miss Tongatapu 2, Fugaau Elizabeth Mafi
  • Fourth runner-up: Miss S&S USA, Sinivia Tu'avao

Siosi’ana Taumoepeau, a crowd favorite, has been crowned the new Miss Heilala 2025-226, near mid-night tonight, 4 July, at the Tonga High Indoor Stadium in Nuku'alofa. Her mother Anita Roberts (Miss Heilala 1997) comes from Fasi and Kotu.

The 24-year-old, born in Germany and raised in the United States and Canada, has Tongan and French heritage.

She holds a degree in Business Marketing Management (Biola University) with a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies, and enjoys travelling, having visited over 30 countries. Siosi'ana declares herself a Christian. She said she worked for the  Samaritan’s Purse, a humanitarian organization, which allowed her to serve communities in need around the world providing aid, hope, and healing in the name of Jesus.

“I step into this journey humbly, with love for our Kingdom and the courage to glorify God in all I do. Join me as I carry the voice of our people, connect our Tongan community around the world, and reflect the hopes of a generation rooted in culture, faith, and purpose,” she said tonight.

Siosi’ana won two judging catergories, Best Sarong Beach-wear and Best Puletaha.

She was also the first runner-up in Talent and Island Creation, and second runner-up in the Pre-pageant Interview.

Her special awards included Miss Popularity/Miss Internet, Miss Photogenic, Miss Tourism, and Best Tau’olunga Costume.

As the winner, she received $10,000 pa'anga along with other prizes.

First runner-up

Miss Current of Love Charity Vava’u, Talita Fainga’a, (25) from ‘Alo I Talau, Neiafu, Vava’u, is first runner-up of the Miss Heilala 2025.

She won the best pre-pageant interview and the best talent quest. She will receive $7000 pa'anga as her prize.

The second runner-up, Miss Tika Way Creations, Malia Toatepi Tonga’uiha, (20) comes from Ovaka Vava’u and Felemea Ha’apai. She won best tau'olunga, winner in best island creation, and second runner-up in sarong beach-wear. She wins $5000.

The third runner-up, Miss Tongatapu 2, Fugaau Elizabeth Amanaki Mafi, (25) comes from the villages of Niuafo’ou, Ma’ufanga, Kolofo’ou, and Fanga. She was first-runner up in pre-pageant interview, sarong, puletaha, and second runner-up in island creation.

The fourth runner-up Miss S&S USA, Sinivia Tu’avao, (21) comes from Lotofoa Ha’apai, Ofu, Falevai Vava’u and Talafo’ou. She was first runner-up in the tau'olunga, and second runner-up in talent.
