A 38-year-old male from Ngele’ia was arrested by Tonga Police's Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and charged for possession of illicit drugs and drug utensils on Tuesday, 17 June 2025.
The arrest resulted in the seizure of alleged methamphetamine, cannabis and drug-related utensils.
“This operation underscores Tonga Police's continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from our communities,” stated Tonga Police, who encouraged the public to report any suspicious drug-related activity by contacting 740-1657 or 922.
