Tonga Police are investigating a serious crash on the Hihifo Road, west of Hofoa, on Sunday evening.
A white Toyota passenger van left the road and crashed into post and a power pole, landing on its side.
Tonga Police and a firetruck from the Tonga Fire and Emergency Services attended the accident.
The people inside the vehicle were removed and taken away from the scene. The number of people in the vehicle and their condition is unknown, at this point of time.
No further details were available tocday.
