Artwork made out of recycled materials was exhibited to raise awareness of climate change, at the launch of Tonga’s Joint National Action Plan on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management (JNAP2), at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall today, 17 August.

Congratulations to the
Congratulations to the organisers of this initiative. Is MEIDEC documenting & sharing the information about the different groups and projects involved in creative activities to utilise the rubbish and waste materials that is polluting our country. Great that recognition is being given to the schools, churches, youth, women & community groups engaged in these activities. Maybe the next one should include the efforts of the communities in Ha'apai, Vava'u, the Niuas and the Tonga diaspora.
