Akilisi and his Temo cronies
'Akilisi and his Temo cronies defied the Constitution by their reckless and blind attempt to defend their brother. There is already a sufficient evidence (prima facie) for impeachment as confirmed by the Minister of Finance. 'Akilisi's argument were fallacious when he brought up natural justice as if the Standing Committee denied natural justice by their refusal to listen to Lavu at this stage. The Standing Committee is under No obligation to listen to any defense from Lavu at this stage when there is already a concrete evidence of abusing of power. Natural justice is and will still be executed when Lavu has to defend himself during the impeachment hearing. 'Akilisi wasted taxpayer dollars by appealing to people's emotions when he referred to his past court cases. So far so good "Pule Rerei"
Hon Fusitu'a has done a great
Hon Fusitu'a has done a great job in upholding the Constitution as well as the Parliamentary procedures while 'Akilisi and his Cabinet are trying to minimize this seriousness of Lavu's case. Dr Eke has fairly and fearlessly played his part without fear of the PM. He stands on what is right as usual. We are waiting for this government to practice what they have long preached.
