Court of Appeal finishes second session

Tonga’s Court of Appeal ended last week with judgments on 14 cases. The court reduced a 13 year imprisonment sentence to five years for a man convicted of raping a feeble minded woman in 2011, after finding that the sentence was “manifestly excessive”.
