Ha'atafu Beach Resort rated in region's Top 10 Family Holiday Resorts

Congratulations to Steve Burling, family, staff and supporters who are responsible for this wonderful achievement. Given the cost of travel, uncertainities of air connections and the many other constraints to developing tourism in Tonga, we should all be proud of this feat. Acknowledgement by those who are provided with funds to promote tourism and economic development in Tonga (Government, Tonga Visitors' Bureau etc) will go a long way to improving local recognition of the contribution of tourism-related businesses to economic development, its contribution to employment and strengthening the best aspects of our culture.
