"Kizuna" binds Japan and Pacific islands

Japan, as a development partner on an equal footing, has been working together with PICs in their nation building. "Kizuna," or the bond of friendship between Japan and PICs is deeply rooted in the fact that we share the same Pacific Ocean and the common spirits of islanders nurtured by this great Ocean.
