HE Mr Michel Monnier, the French non-resident Ambassador to Tonga, visited Tonga last week and had an audience with HM King George Tupou V in Nuku'alofa.

A group of nine volunteers, the fourth group of Japanese volunteers for Tonga this year, started working yesterday, October 26.

Tongan and Chinese officials today signed a co-operation agreement in Nuku'alofa this afternoon under which Tonga received a grant of $3 million pa'anga.
