Tongan students at the University of the South Pacific graduated on Friday, with a colourful ceremony held at the Tonga High Stadium in Nuku’alofa. The graduate speaker, Miss Fuatino Tangitau recalled how students had overcome the challenges of covid lockdows and the HTHH eruption in pursuit of their degrees.

The USP Tonga campus graduation ceremony for 177 graduates, brought emotion and excitement to families and loved ones, today at the Falemasiva Hall, Havelu, this morning. Chancellor of the University, Governor General of the Solomon Islands HE Sir David Vunagi, presented the certificates, and degrees.
