Results for Petrol Prices

The new petroleum prices for August - September will significantly increase from tomorrow Friday 18 August. The Ministry of Trade and Economic Development said that the increase in the price of all grades in Tonga this month is due to the annual review price rise combined with higher international product prices.

The new petroleum prices for April to May decreases effective from Tuesday, 18 April.

Petrol, diesel and kerosene prices have increased as approved by the Tonga Competent Authority (TCA) starting on October 18.

The price of petrol, kerosene, and diesel has increased for May-June starting yesterday, 16 May 2019. Wholesale petrol, kerosene and diesel increased by 11.61 seniti/litre, 5.51 seniti/litre and 4.71 seniti/litre respectively.

Petrol and kerosene retail prices have decreased slightly for September to October starting on Tuesday, 18 September, while the price of diesel went up.

A slight drop in new petroleum prices for petrol, kerosene, and diesel, has been approved by the Tonga Competent Authority effective from today, 16 April. The retail price of petrol, kerosene and diesel has decreased by 0.09 seniti/litre, 5.68 seniti/litre and 2.98 seniti/litre respectively, with all price changes including consumption tax.

Prices for petrol, diesel and kerosene have all risen for the next month mid-January to mid-February, following the weakening of the pa'anga. The Tonga Competent Authority approved the prices to be effective from today January 16.
