A total of 32 cases of dengue fever have been confirmed across Tonga - an increase of 4 cases since the last report, the Ministry of Health stated today (Sit Rep #5), 23 April 2026. Seven cases are currently hospitalised including five in Ha'apai and two in Tongatapu. A public health clean-up starts tomorrow, Friday at Fo’ui and Fangaloto.

Thirteen new cases of dengue reported with positive rapid tests, have brought the total cumulative dengue fever cases up to 321 in Tonga, the Ministry of Health reported on 20 March.
